Abigail Update

Abby has surpassed her birth weight!
Her weight on Tuesday was 2 lbs. 5 oz. -- you go girl!
Abigail did not enjoy having the CPAP (continuous positive air pressure) tubes in her nose. She had some episodes of bradycardia. So the doctors and nurses put her back on the respirator so she could devote more of her energy to growing, rather than breathing. They say her lungs look and sound very healthy.
Yesterday, Abby's feedings were increased to 4 cc's every 2 hours. Mommy spent the day at the hospital, and got to change Abby's diaper, help with her bath, and even held her today while they changed her isolette.
More good news on Tuesday -- Abigail's 14-day CAT scan showed no evidence of intercranial hemorrhage! She's a hard-headed Irish lass, all right!
Daddy is planning to take a digital camera to the hospital this weekend, so we should have some new photos early next week!
