CRISNY offers inexpensive Internet services to area schools


The Capital Region Information Service of New York (CRISNY), a not-for-profit organization, is the area's community network.

Part of CRISNY's mission is to promote the use of network communication to enhance the quality of education in the schools and introduce teachers, students and parents to the exciting world of the Internet using the World Wide Web. To fulfill this mission, CRISNY is offering the following special pricing schemes for schools.

School accounts are to be used to post and maintain school information which would be of interest to the community, faculty, staff and students. This information could include, but not be limited to: schedules of special events or meetings, sporting events, clubs and activities, teacher's corner, student-of-the-month, etc. One coordinator's account will provide unlimited hours per month online, one e-mail address, and space on our Internet server up to a maximum of 10 MB.
