CRISNY offers free public service accounts to Not-For-Profit Organizations


The Capital Region Information Service of New York (CRISNY), a not-for-profit organization, is the area's community network.

Part of CRISNY's mission is to promote the use of network communication to facilitate public access to community information. Each participating organization is entitled to one free account with 10 hours of online time per month. This time should be used to manage online information and responses to e-mail. This account includes one e-mail address.

Online information topics could include, but not be limited to: About the Organization, Action Alerts, Community Liaisons, Educational Offerings, Officers / Board of Directors, Programs and Activities, and Public Meetings. One coordinator's account will provide 10 hours per month online, one e-mail address, two free listservs to conduct discussions on community-selected topics, and space on our Internet server up to a maximum of 10 MB.
