Lutheran Statewide Advocacy
The New York Public Policy Office of the
Evangelical Lutheran Church in America
Lutheran Statewide Advocacy began in 1983 as a voice for people whose
cries for justice are not heard as justice requires. We bring our concerns
to New York State Government. Our priority issue areas are hunger,
economic life, health, and violence. Our message is grounded in Scripture,
interpreted through the Social Statements of the Evangelical Lutheran
Church in America.

A message from the Director:
The Rev. Dan Hahn Director
Thank you for visiting our web page. It is a privilege to be able to
move forward in hope, despite the challenges which confront us in these
times. As St. Paul said, "hope does not disappoint us, because God has
poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit..." Our conviction
of God's presence gives us strength to carry on, and to give each other
strength and joy as we do. I invite you to join us, as I wish you also
great strength and joy.
"Let justice run down like waters, and righteousness
like a mighty stream."Created by John Bullough and maintained by Dan Hahn.
